About us
The purpose of the MIGRANT EXPO is to facilitate the successful integration of migrants into a new community by providing them with essential information, resources, and support.
The event is organised by MIGRANT NEWS www.migrantnews.nz which was launched in 1991. Over the years the publisher has organised events like the mega Asia Pacific Expo, Look East - the Southeast Asia Festival, Fiesta Pilipinas and the Migrant Expo in Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and Hamilton.
Listed below are some of our objectives of organising this annual event: cultural integration, access to services, networking and community building, economic empowerment, legal support and guidance.
By achieving these objectives, the Migrant Exppo aims to empower migrants to become active, informed, and integrated members of their new communities, contributing positively to society and enhancing their quality of life.
